Research interests

• Applications on electron- and fluorescence microscopy to a variety of problems in strucrural biology
• Morphology and anatomy of vascular plants; development and modification of investigation methods; preparation techniques and special approaches for studies with light- and electron microscopy of unusual or difficult material; processing of image data
• German flora and vegetation
